Geodata and analysis
We are currently developing an analysis environment for ground data and geodata. It accesses official services and databases via direct interfaces and evaluates maps, terrain, aerial photographs and exploratory points together.
Direct database connections
Geological maps, DGM1 terrain data, borehole locations, protected areas, satellite images and historical aerial photographs and maps are queried via OGC services (WMS, WFS) and REST interfaces – with source and retrieval date.
Data fusion
Map, terrain model, image, borehole and probing share a common spatial reference (ETRS89/UTM), in the GIS and in a spatial database (SQL/PostGIS). Whatever does not fit together becomes visible before it enters an assessment.
Pattern recognition
Layer boundaries from the contrast in measured values, depressions in the terrain, discrepancies between sources and changes found by comparing aerial photographs from different decades – each with a statement of how reliable the finding is.
If you work on geodata, interfaces or evaluation methods and would like to exchange ideas, you are welcome to get in touch.
